Taína who was born and raised in NYC spent much of her childhood in the Dominican Republic, which is where her true love of architecture began, with a maternal grandfather who was a master carpenter and a civil engineer for an uncle; both taught her the laborious end of construction and the technical side of civil engineering design.

   

Taína earned a Masters Degree in Engineering from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) after earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from NYIT and has over 15 years in experience with design and management.
